Clash of the Titans – Sexy Athena Costume

This costume is based on the Greek Goddess Athena as depicted in the recent movie Clash of the Titans. The movie tells the tale of how the gods manipulate mankind to further their own aims against other gods – notably Zeus against his brothers Poseidon and Hades.

Athena is one of the goddesses that live on Mount Olympus however her role is quite small in the film. Most of her scenes take place on Mount Olympus, which is home of the gods, where she talks with other gods and watches the progress of the human hero Perseus.  Apparently many of the scenes involving Athena were cut from the final movie that made the big screen. no idea why this happened.

Her costume, the Sexy Athena Costume is an elegant looking toga style outfit that is sure to go down well at a fancy dress party around Halloween time. Either that or a special dress up party dedicated to the movie.

Athena was a pretty versatile goddess. Firstly she gave her name to the city of Athens. The Parthenon was made in her honor and dedicated to her powers.

Other than that she is the goddess of heroes, thus she take a keen interest in the human hero Perseus as he rails against massive creatures, monsters and other gods.

She is also thought to be the goddess of  wisdom, civilization and war. So she has quite a lot on her plate. How she managed to look after all those things and still keep in shape I’ll never know. And isn’t war and civilization a bit of a conflict of interest. Hmm…

Anyway she looks pretty fine in this traditional style Greek costume. It includes a elegant Ivory colored dress that has high slits on each thigh. There is a gold colored vest, a thin gold belt and gold arm gauntlets. You could wear this as it is or add the wig and headpiece to look just like Athena out of the movie. In fact  the headpiece looks really good with this costume as is recommended.

Folks that have seen the movie will know exactly who you are but for others, tell them you are the goddess of war, wisdom and civilization. That will sure impress them as will this costume.
